I am liking TSN.ca and there lack of dog-like obedience to the NHL. I do not think that if they still held the contracts for broadcast they would not have printed the essay on cocaine in the NHL (Although it really really really was poor that they held on to that content until the morning after a player gets caught... if it was news, it was news on any day.)

2. had wayyy more ice time.

Now with season under way, WD expects JV and JM to score with 2 min of ice time?? Sedins can be held off the scoresheet getting 20 min. It's unrealistic.

I had such high expectations of WD coming in. Playoffs really exposed him. I don't like his performance this season. I'm a carlyle fan. I'd like to see him added to the bench to balance WDs shortcomings.

Love comments like this, "no way". These two teams both play d-first, if Montreal takes penalties or makes mistakes we've got a chance. If Van is making mistakes/taking penalties it will go the other way because both teams have solid special teams. For sure, edge to Montreal as they steamroll into town, but come on.

So...you are comparing how the kids are doing in pre season vs WHL/NCAA rookies and mostly AHL squads as opposed to facing the men of the western conference? And the fact they all,don't have 10 goals apiece yet is WD's fault? You do realize how difficult it is to integrate 4 rookies into a regular NHL roster right?
