I've said it before many time that faceoffs % isn't important or at least very reflective of the importance of the actual skill.

Being a 51% isn't that much different than a 49% when we are talking 800-1000 face offs.

Winning an important faceoff is always important... unfortunately FO % doesn't show which are and are not critical to a game' success.
