Anaheim planned to get older in the off season, eh? Horcoff, Bieksa, Jackman, Santorelli. Seems like they just undid what worked for them last year.

EDIT: though I guess they lost Beauchemin, so Bieksa is a wash in terms off age, if not in awfulness.

And they extended Bieksa.

Now they have him and Kesler until they're 40.

I'd be happy with that return.

Safe to say Higgins is replacing Baerstchi.

Bearstchi and Vey would be great together in Utica. Shink would look better than Sven...here.

Looks like the stick hit Prust on his Achilles tendon.

Let's hope he's alright. That looked unpleasant, especially for a guy as tough as Prust.

He's been good. Funnily enough, all of Bennings acquisitions have been good this season except for Vey and Baertchi, the two that he didn't get any grief for.

Sutter is capable of playing really good while looking bad. It took some getting use to but he is a very useful and effective player if you never had the bar set high for the guy. I'm not at all disappointed with adding him so far. I just ignore some of the stuff Benning says about players when acquires them. It seems to change what people expect from the new additions... gives others ammo when they are on their soap box.

Agreed. Miller is in the zone, no need to be too cautious. It's playing it safe that has been killing them.

Yeah, none of this bullpoop from other games... push hard in the 3rd even if it costs us a goal... sitting back seems to give them up in bunches.
