I wonder who comes back first...Kane or Bogosian? Whatever this injury that Bogo has just seems to keep lingering around. |

Bylsma sounded like bogo would be moved to day-to-day pretty soon...
*shrugs*...they said that a week ago too, so who knows...however, imo, let him take as long as he needs to |

I never realized Briere almost hit 100 points one season with us.
As difficult as it is to listen to that part of sabers history retold, those were good times! |

Yeah definitely want Bogo back healthy and not still bothered by some injury. Hope he is back by the next Sabres game in Tampa, I believe it's 11/12/15. |

i remember never even doubting that team if they started the 3rd down a goal. it was almost a lock they would at least tie it. |

It was great. Even 5:00 left in third down 1 was a chill situation. |

I'll never forget during the October Surprise, listening on my wife's Hello kitty radio (the power was out). We were losing 3-0 vs Pens, and not for a moment did I think we would lose. I cooked herb-crusted racks of lamb on the gas stove by candlelight and drank red wine while we listened to the comeback. One of my favorite memories, hands down...next to the "comeback" that followed the game. |

Quiet for a gameday
Im still happy with how the first 1/10th of the season has played out, as some others have expressed. They look competent for the most part, they create chances and sustained offensive zone time for the first time in two seasons. For me they are passing the eye test so far. I have no expectations for the season, and quite honestly wouldnt mind another top 5 pick with another good shot at winning the lottery. As long as we continue to see improvement as a team and with our young players. It is nice being excited for game night again, to cheer when they score, and to be upset when they get scored on.
I think the kane injury was a little freakish, despite his history. He has looked fantastic in his brief stint so far, goals or not. To me the team is snakebitten big time right now, and with the chances eichel creates for himself and others goals will start coming. The team will continue to gel, and defenitely loosen up when they start burying some of the said chances.
I am however getting sick of seeing gionta play big minutes. He should never be on a line with eichel EVER. He should not be seeing PP time over girgensons either. I would rather see eichel getting top PP minutes but if you want to argue about making a young player earn it i would agree, however im pretty damn sure girgensons earned whatever he needed to last season. With kane out I dont care if moulson cant skate well, being a much more recent 30 goal scorer he should be playing with eichel. IMO eichel can create and find moulson when he catches up, or gets there to bury the rebound. I dont hate gionta, but i defenitely hate the on ice role he has been handed. He should strictly be limited to 3rd line spot PP/PK duty.
I feel like since gionta came back, eichel has been held back by being saddled with him. One goal in practical garbage time against NJ. Thats it since having gionta on his line. Maybe moulson would slow eichel down and become saddled with him too. Who knows but with the way bylsma juggles lines, i would at least like to see it put to the test.

I think the trolls have worn themselves out for the most part. They got the "haha" Kane is hurt again out of their system, and O'Reilly is producing, so they don't have as much to female dog about. |

I think it's a ruse. Seeing him in photos with the not yet introduced character is all the proof I need. I don't like that they did that, but what can you do. |

Well said. I'm not 100% sold on Bylsma yet, but with such a small sample size, I'm not going to overreact. I feel like some of the posters here have a better feel for how our lines should be put together than he does. |

Or more to the point, Golisano.
Would have been nice to see him spend some money. Especially considering how close they were that year.
