Making up for dropped points in that western conference is so tough as well. The record they'll need to make it as the last wild card spot (last year 97 points), not sure they're capable of it.

Indeed.

Eichel looked lost out there without Kane most of the night until the third. I like the idea of Reinhart - Eichel - Larsson though. Rob Ray was right. I know, crazy. You have Reinhart as the set up man, Eichel as the finisher and Larsson buzzing around creating chaos. As long as they keep it simple like they did tonight it could be a great line, but since something worked Bylsma will mix it up and have Eichel playing with Gionta and... Weber, because everyone has to cycle through his wing at some point.

But the Sabres have got to stop giving up goals in the last minute of periods if they want to win games.
