Reinhart
McCabe
Larsson all had really nice games last night.
I really like what I have been seeing from McCabe and Reinhart consistently!
For me thus far, Reinhart sees the ice so much better than Eichel and to this point in the season has outplayed Eichel, in my opinion of course.
Although it seems to be working on the powerplay, I still don't know what Bylsma is thinking by wasting Reinhart's play making ability by parking him in front of the net?
I can only hope that this is Bylsma's way of toughening the young man up faster.
That said, last night was an exciting game to view.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself, really entertaining.

That's my concern and thought as well, honestly. I agree that it seems a waste to put a guy with such vision in a place like that - he seems like the perfect guy to play a half-wall position on the PP

Much like watching Ruff waste Pommer all those years on the point rather than the half wall.

Reinhart was the last guy I thought we'd see in that spot of the ice consistently, but he doesn't seem to be afraid to go there and he seems to have a knack for screening the goalie.

Agreed . For someone everyone said had to bulk up to not be pushed around , He sure seems to have mastered it to an extent.

The skunk on skates has really impressed me the last few games. He has made several very nice passes. A few of them didn't connect but it was because the other player didn't expect it. Once they all play together more Skunk could have some lethal passes on his resume

He's looked better and better each game. I thought last night was probably his best. You can see he's playing with a lot more confidence and that's key for a guy like him.

Just found this on NHL.com
We were talking about his goals last year and how many he had on the breakaway, which was six of his [15] goals last year. So when he got the puck I started walking off the bench [thinking] he's going to find it, and he did.
