He's tied for team lead in goals here, so it's not like the rest of his teammates are producing and he's not. The offense as a whole has struggled.

They both are. McDavid's getting the assists that Eichel hasn't. At some point he'll take some (probably undeserved) criticism.

Girgensons seems much more like himself tonight. He's gotten a few good chances. Just wish he'd bang one of them home.

Exactly. And he's produced a ton of good chances that just haven't been capitalized on. If half of them were put in he'd be close to, if not pass McDavid in points. Just can't believe this is even a topic being brought up right now.

Because unfortunately there are a lot of Buffalo fans that have extremely unrealistic expectations. It's the exact reason why I've always said that it would be a terrible idea to have Pat Kane here. People would have these crazy ideas of what he could do here and I think it would weigh on him eventually.

Ennis has struggled quite a bit with out Girgs though too. He seems to be breaking through a bit now, but things have not come easily for Ennis so far this year either.
