My opinion is Sammy Watkins still has a lot of growing up to do. He needs to learn that if you're a professional athlete, you need to act professional too. With that said, what he said isn't the worst thing in the world, hopefully he'll find his way. - chilliard77
But what about the professional bankers, accountants, technicians, linemen who were attacking Watkins. Should they not be held in the same regard.
I have no issue with what Sammy said. It is nothing that none of us would do is someone was constantly in our face degrading us. Maybe those who find issue also need to do some growing up? (NO offense to anyone here)

Agreed .. Too many have nothing better to do than try and get attention to their selves.

The fans fired the first shots, on his social media pages. When they fire back don't act shocked and appalled because you acted like the douchebags first.

And that was my point. Seems like they anticipated a response that could blow up. Nothing better to do.

Just want to Thank all my fans for their support please don't retract yesterday's statement. My frustration is wanting to help the team and win for the city of Buffalo and for my teammates. As a player we need critics and also fans that's apart of the game, majority of the negative comments were from other fans not the Bills fans. My comments were still inappropriate don't matter what fan or who others cheer for we all represent the NFL shield Therefore #letsgobuffalo

Would love to kick Pittsburgh's butt while they are down!

I agree. I'd like to keep Crosby quiet for another game. It's time for Johnson to step up big time. Unless they throw Ullmark in because Johnson played well against Philly and there is the game at home on Friday.

"No we're not friends. We were friendly when we were together in different situations, but that was it.He's a good kid" Eichel on McDavid
I like the way he says it, makes me think he secretly hates him. - Sabresfan-365
He probably does. And I think that because McDavid has been performing well since he got his 1st goal that Eichel is trying too hard to match it. He needs to settle down and just let things happen. It's how McDavid was playing until he got his 1st. There's this crazy sense of urgency that clouds their judgment.

Probably thought he had the goal on the mccabe shot last night. He'll eventually get hot (statistically), he's creating too many chances not too. His line was crazy good last night.

I feel like this hasn't happened in past drafts like Ovi and Malkin, social media maybe playing a part in this but the constant comparison between the two i think is going to hurt both of them early on in there careers becuase they both care to much what the other is doing. Even though they say they don't

To an extent yes. It's too in their faces IMO. NHL.com has a tracker set up for how the two of them are doing. It's crazy.

Oh man that was one of the roughest landings into the buff airport I've had in a while. Pilot was getting wind shear and finally got it down on the third try.

The comment where he said he went to the Bills via his agent asking for more touches, then goes to the Buffalo News and has to tell us all how bad they are making him look.
Just a guess, but like Evander Kane wanted out of Winnipeg, he wants out of Buffalo and is stirring the pot to try to get just that.
