One more point, we just played the top two teams in the league and got three of four points....things are starting to come together as the kids are getting some ice-time and the team is starting to play better.

Hutton has been a very nice surprise.
McCann has really been a pleasant surprise.
Virtanen is playing well providing much needed physicality.
Miller has been very good.
Sutter has been impressive.

Accurate, except I'm not so sure the Stars are really "top two", but they have been playing good. How about Mtl blowing a 3-0 lead to edmonton hahaha

My only complaint is they need to sort out the third period. In a lot of their losses they've been the better team for the majority of the game, tonight included.

Ya they've gotta find a way to clean up those losses but for a team with low expectations they're doing pretty well.

I think simply rolling all 4 lines in the third would do it, im no coach but I mean shorten the bench, blow the lead game after game gets kinda obvious.

Those 3 out of 4 pts means we wont see Nucker for some time, which is a shame.

Bo is a team worst -6....I think the sophomore jinx has got him already this year.

More goals than Getzlaf, Perry and Kesler combined.

He's had a big jump in responsibility and he's been tied to Baertchi for a lot of the season as well. They traded for Sutter to insulate Horvat, maybe it's time to do that. Give Horvat some easier minutes and allow him to regain his footing a little bit.

Big win for them. It's been a long time since they've had a win that big.

His responsibilities are much greater this year IMO.

I think they are, offensively anyways....Bo had 17:08 in ice-time tonight, but only 13:50 of that was even strength. 3:06 was PK and 0:52 was PP.

Sutter had 19:04 total, 1:09 PP and 1:02 PK....so 18:02 was in an offensive role.

He's struggling to produce offence and his defensive game hasn't been as strong as I'd like, however, he's still a great young player.

The loss was disappointing for sure, but as mentioned that was 3 points out of 4 against the two top teams.

I still don't think Canucks have found their groove yet. Sedins aren't scoring , Bo is struggling , Baertschi not getting the puck luck and a whole bunch more. If this team gets it all together at once then they could make some serious noise. They are a well rounded team , and I think they will only get better.

Make the playoffs and all bets are off. This year they so far have the toughness ,speed, D doesn't look bad and Miller has been great. I don't think they are cup winners but I see them winning a round or two this year . I still think next year they will be serious contenders

Ducks are in dead last this morning. CBJ passed them last night . I wonder how that mouthpiece Kesler feels now.

I think the ducks made some terrible acquisitions this year and traded off some good pieces or let them walk.
