It'll pick up around game time. I'm looking forward to seeing Guance play tonight. Hopefully he plays very well and makes it even more glaring that it is time to trade Higgins.

I'm really excited to see Gaunce get in tonight. I think he by far looked the most NHL ready during camp of all the kids and was a casualty of AHL restrictions more than anything else.

I doubt he gets more than one game this call up barring any injuries and that's okay but I think he will soon be a fixture on this team.

I hope Miller continues his strong play but at some point he is going to need a rest, I wonder if WD is waiting for him to falter first.
Regardless of how he plays I expect Bachman gets a start on one of the back to backs.

I don't understand why Gaunce is being so hyped after the preseason and a mediocre campaign in the minors. I doubt he is an adequate replacement for Higgins. I hope I'm wrong though!

what a beauty day...

I trimmed back the cherry tree, hope it comes back next spring, about 5 hours and 2 trips to drop off the branches, short sleeve weather, would of had shorts on too but for the work.

Go Canucks.

Mediocre campaign? How would you know? Are you on the coaching staff? Is 5 games an adequate assessment of a campaign?
