Me too, but I doubt that happens. Although that may help the Ducks sooner. I mean, the goal tending has not been the issue and bring a young goalie with limited experience could hurt them more than help (in the short term). So maybe trading Gibson help them more now (Gibson is cheaper this year, but Andersen is not signed past this year, Gibson is for 3 years).

I don't have any link for this guess. It's just me watching how things happen wit the team and remembering how Murray has done other things.

He has explained that he gets the main part of a deal done, and then tinkers at the edges to see if there are other pieces that make sense too. I think he likes these big trades.
