We also had a killer December under Torts. I think we were 3rd in the conference heading into January and the injury bug hit us hard. At one point in Jan/Feb under Torts we had 8 starters out of the lineup. As hard as Torts gets hit in the forums it wasn't all his fault...

We should actually thank him for McCann and Sutter/Sbisa and take that 2nd rounder and run...

It really was a perfect storm in a sense, the compacted Olympic schedule, the style of play Tortorella wanted to play and an older team. Everyone just broke down the last couple of months and the rest is history.

It's all sunshine and roses in the new blog after Friday's game.

Seriously?!?!?!
He didn't go to practices, didn't talk to players(Unless he was screaming in their face while jabbing his finger into them), didn't once talk to the coach from the farm team & didn't like Dale Weise.
He was a total disaster through & through.
