@ThomasDrance: ICYMI this weekend: https://t.co/MwiuAzSBWv It will be hard to remove Yannick Weber from the #Canucks' lineup. https://t.co/oD5gwLDUzD
I don't get the obsession with Weber. Piece should be called: Woody for Weber: A Canucks Army Fantasy.
The piece says that the Canucks first unit was generating a ton of chances in the first few games, but was snakebit. Then it says since Weber joined, they have three goals in four games. It then goes to explain that two of the goals have nothing to do with Weber. Then it says Jamie Benn was afraid of Weber's shot. How is this an argument for Weber? - bazz
Weber paid him off, he needs all the press he can get since he's going to get dumped at the end of the season. |

Since I started watching the games nude the powerplay has taken off, so there must be a correlation there. I guess I'm going to have to keep it going, which will be tough considering I'm going to the game tonight. Gotta support the team. |

I think you are putting a bit of a slant on the article and while the premise might not be correct the author does a pretty good job of defending his reasoning. The PP has started to click right around the same time Weber had joined it, whether it is coincidence or not is too early to tell, but again that article points out some good theories on how Weber positively impacts the PP.
This isn't the first time someone has pointed out that the Sedins PP is greatly impacted by a RH shot and I tend to agree with the theory.
Ideally we would have a better option than Weber there but we don't, the PP is too important to not have it firing on all cylinders. |

Young players like the Canucks rookies make a case financially and with their play to replace veterans whereas in years past that wouldn't be the case... Pre the current CBA...
Every team's mix of players had to now include a healthy dose of ELCs... |

well just remember under your clothes you are nude still
perhaps if you go in shorts and tank top they'll only get 1-2 PP goals instead of 3-4? |
