I didn't pay much attention to last night's game, but he was with Legwand and mcGinn, wasn't he? Pretty sure I saw a bunch of posts about how well Legwand looked, plus Reinhart with the goal (from Legwand), so despite it being the 4th line, they did more than 2 of the top 3 lines, so that's always good. - stashu
In general, we have a lot of depth on the team, so putting a guy like Reinhart on the 4th line isn't exactly the same as it was in years past when the rest of the line were practically boat anchors out there. I just think overall, Folingo is better suited for that role.
I get not moving Deslauriers down for the game yesterday because he's had good chemistry with ROR, but I don't think Foligno has done all that much to warrant keeping a top 9 role over Reinhart. |

i highly doubt they would buy him out unless he asked for it.. there are not cap strapped and he is a good vet to have even if he is on the 3rd or 4th line. - IndianaSabresFan

I don't think Murray signed Gionta with the purpose of providing offense. He was brought in for the types of things that don't show up on the scoresheet and I think he's filling that role just fine. |

I doubt they buy him out too, but your captain cannot play on the third or fourth line. I like his vetran leadership, but if we can get another top 6 (I am currently stuck on Stamkos) I dont think he has a spot on the team. Only time will tell, but I think we buy him out.
Edit: His salary for next year is $2m (cap hit of $4.25) so maybe it is better to keep him here. |

I honestly didn't notice that he seemed really slow to get back up. But, I'll take your word for it, being that you probably understand the position better than I do. - HonkFortheGoose
i wouldn't say he was slow.. he just wasn't hasek fish out of water quick. there were like 2 plays where he went down and got turned around and he recovered a little on the slow side but not terrible. |

I agree. But Foligno showed more offense than I've seen from him in a long long time. All the shots went wide but it's a start. |

i don't think its a big deal to have your captain on the third line when they are a vet of his pedigree. |

I'll pass on Stamkos. What we'd have to give up in a trade isn't worth it and I'm not handcuffing the team with the ridiculous contract he would demand in FA. It's not worth it for this team, IMO. |

Have you actually watched any of the games? Gorges is playing just fine right now. Don't try and fix something that's not broke. |

do you think he will get a call from the NHLPA on that hit at the end of the game in Philly? |

I am in no way complaining about Foligno's game. I just hate seeing that Reinhart has been playing well and still ended up on the 4th line last night. Yes, he did score a goal, but I think having him on the 4th is more of a waste of his talent than it would be a wasate of Foligno's talent. |

If I'm not mistaken, it would have to have happened already since we played yesterday. |

This is a well thought out and logical response. However i can't see past Eichel+Stamkos so im afraid i have to disagree |
