Pretty much and I've basically seen em all.

The earliest teams couldn't score but they could at least play competent D and the late 80s early 90s pre Lindros teams would at least play physical and when healthy, they weren't terrible. Hell even the 06-07 poopstorm looked more engaged than these bumholes. This is a (frank)ing trainwreck

yeah, I remember the pre-Lindros teams. They were bad, but at the end of the night at least the other team knew they were in a hockey game.

I think he's going to be good, but not sure if he's all star good.

I think they need another forward on the level of Jake and Giroux along with much better depth players. Even guys like Schenn and Simmonds struggle at even strength. Both are good on the PP, but that only gets you so far. Flyers have too many situational players.

But the ES talent of this team is awful. They don't have the speed to carry it in and just constantly dump the puck over and over. It's not just the defense.

He's definitely hit a rough patch, but he averaged a point per game last season. Not alllllllllllll of them came on the PP.

on the Oilers TV broadcast, after the first period, they interviewed Wayne Gretzky!

He talked nothing but high praise, love even, for the Flyers and their organization through out his time playing in the NHL.

I wish I could have taped it for all of you to hear.

I agree about the ES issues. If you're going to lack speed, you need to be able to dominate along the boards. This team can't do that.

he and snider are buddies. not surprising. and very nice to hear. i hated wayne as a kid, because he ruined my life, but i've grown to really respect him as a person...forget his accomplishments. he's a good dude.
