He really hasn't though. It's a combination of failure to finish, bad luck, trying to do too much, and lack of confidence. He's still one of the few players playing something that could, through squinty eyes, be called hockey. I'm not worried about his contract and I'm not in the slightest bit worried about his effort and skill level. I AM worried about what's doing upstairs for him right now though.

I'm not going to go that far. But Raffle is not a first line player. Brayden Schenn, Matt Read, RJ Umberger, Vinny Lecavalier, Chris Vandevelde, Luke Schenn, Brandon Manning these guys are trash. Legit 3 quarters of the team is trash and the rest are expected to be more than they actually are. This has 2006-07 written all over it. And why not? You've got 4 ace defensive prospects, with a 5th d prospect that looks decent. You've got two good goalies and a couple of young good players on offense with Konecy waiting. What's one more year of blowing matter?

This lineup needs to be shaken up. Call up some young kids, make a trade -- maybe not quite yet but those thoughts have to be running through Hexy's mind. They're not just losing; they're getting shellacked. Outskilled, outworked, outhoused.

Just reading this makes me upset with Hakstol considering what happenedin Buffalo a week ago. Brayden Schenn got us that tying goal. Brayden Schenn has 4 goals tied with Giroux for the most of the team. No excuse to have White out there.
