I search quite a bit, every service "showing" the game wanted me to sign up for something, which I am not willing to do. I "pay" for rogers service, which I don't get. It's stupid. - 1970vintage
Ya I've tried that too and you run the risk of spyware cause we really don't know what the hell is happening on the other end. If you are an Alberta resident every Flames Oilers game is broadcast but man it sucks being a Nuck fan in terms of TV viewership out here. I really expected more Canuck games broadcast on SN country-wide after they signed that deal. I thought that we would have pretty much good access to most of the CDN teams broadcasts (within certain areas) across the country. But really all they did was give us a choice (finally) to turn Leafs games off on HNIC Sat night for another option...which is great. And Sunday nights too but they still force you to buy Centre Ice which is outright bull****.
But yet we have a CDN team playing last night and SN broadcasts the CHI/LA game?
With SN/SN1/SN360/CITY/CBC there should be no need for Centre Ice to watch the CDN clubs anymore...but they just have to gouge...

Have you used Popcorn Time? I have been getting mixed results from it and curious how others have found it - WhiteLie
No, i have other stuff i use on my android box.
i literally called to cancel my cable a couple months back and the guy gave me a bunch more channels and cut my bill down just to keep it for another month or two. I never watched cable once in that time and then called to cancel again and told the guy i could get internet and phone for a certain price and he essentially gave me better internet speed, unlimited dl/ul and phone w/ features & N. America calling plus basic cable for the slightly less than the same price i would paid if i'd have switched. I'm paying less now than if i'd have switched for just two services and I still have basic cable (which is now essentially free for me).

I just had my TV of for two months. I turned it off after the last episode of True Detective and it stayed cold until the first televised Canucks game. I watch most of my entertainment on my computer as well. Doesn't save me money because I pay per sata but TV just absolutely sucks even when you have PVR... I'm a very picky viewer though. If I sit in a room with people who are watching something popular... I look around a think...whats wrong with these brain dead people and turn on my computer.

yeah, i get all sorts of documentaries, etc... stuff from around the world. you can get some good stuff from SBS in australia for example, if you have a vpn. I watched all the world cup football games from SBS.
with the vpn you can watch all the stuff from all Netflix sites with your Canadian subscription.

Just be careful when using a VPN on Netflix, they're going after people doing that.
