I was there. That was my very first live NHL game. At 12 years old, I knew all the stars of the game at that time. But knew nothing about this PAvel Bure fella that was gonna make his NHL debut that night at the coliseum. I was so excited to be at a live NHL game for the very first time. Keeping a close eye on Bure was the furthest thing from my mind. Bure's debut never really sunk in until about 3 years later when they were playing in the finals. - Itsjustarash

Who knew that a paid professional scout/gm would know more about analyzing player potential and how they fit on a team that HB posters?!?! |

Fate wont let me have reliable internet at home no matter what I do or try. I've gotten desperate enough to change to the only other provider(on same towers though) but the Gods are (frank)ing me there too... drive into town to the Telus shop and there's a note on the door saying closed early. Three days later drive into town and walk around the corner saying "they better be fkn open this time" and there is a car that crashed through the front of the store... they won't be open now for the next week...
Drive to Prince George to pick up some pre ordered equipment after they called me to tell me it arrived. 1h15m drive is 2 hours because of all the construction... get there... note on door saying sorry closed early. I go back Saturday and the construction stops were so long it took over two hours... store closes at 3 on Saturdays... wtf??? Missed by 15 min... it takes 3 trips to PG for this poop.
I've been desperately trying to get on my roof to fix a leak, repair chimney and do a sweep... every morning I wake up to a half inch of frozen ice on the roof. Roof is only dry when I'm driving to prince george and back apparently... roof is a death ride when wet... learned the hard way in the past.
Now when I click submit in a few seconds... my connection will drop... every time there is a outgoing data pack... the connection drops... any kind of chat box, email, fb....uploads... it lags for a couple of minutes then the connection dropped logo comes up. It will take several attempts to get it out...

On a bit of a side-note, I've been really pleased with the way Hansen has played thus far. It seems like whenever he is on the ice he is making a good play or creating something out there. The guy has incredible wheels and a great work ethic - it's too bad he doesn't have just a little bit more skill, as he would be a lock for 25-30 goals per year. Still, it looks like he is going to be in that 20+ goal range and continue to wreak havoc out there on the PK. Another 'unsung' hero year for the Honey Badger |

I have a steep metal roof. It more or less is a ski jump any time it's not dry.
I have a lot of experience with framing, roofing, some sheet metal work. I do it all myself.
The last thing I want to do is hire strangers up here to access my property. Once you get in behind my house there are all kinds of hidden treasures that anyone can simple steal unseen when I'm not around. You can only see part of my house from the road. Cut the chain on my gate and drive away with a jet boat, 2 quads, camper, another smaller outboard on custom weld fly fishing punt and a shed full of fishing gear. I have a couple of good chain saws and a lot of power tools.
I keep the fly rods in the house. I'll never replace most of those for the prices I managed when our dollar was on par and I found suppliers who were clearing in the US. Rods that go for a grand up here were in my hand for $350. Same with reels...

Those (frank)ers are everywhere. Why work when you can steal for nothing I guess. And our justice system gives them a slap on the wrist |

If Hansen had just a little bit more finishing ability, he would be first line material. As it is, he's such a great utility forward regardless, you can deploy him in all aspects and don't have to worry about him defensively. And he's still relatively young (29) which is a bonus (not to mention having a very cap friendly salary). I've always liked his game |

Hansen has been great. He seems to be winning all his races, puck battles and finds himself 1 on 1 with the goalie often. He just might be having his best run of hockey ever... not that he hasnt been always reliable pretty much.
