Speaking of the hawks
Their captain fought a smaller player so he is a douchebag goon right?
Had nothing to do with the Hawks needing something to fire them up |

I would use a Jarmo comparable but I honestly don't know if he will ever be in position to actually ADD an NHL player at the deadline.
And yes, DA traded David Rundblad for the pick used on Tarasenko. - fattyboubatty
signed horton to a big deal how did that go?
he traded some good players for saad and signed him to big money. traded for clarkson.
he has drafted and traded for a great de...oh wait that was armstrong. |

Hitch - are you convinced that Gomez has earned to be in this lineup more consistently? The guy can just flat make plays. - stljam
is it him or is it him and fabbri on the same line? as his lines continue to get hemmed in their own zone every game. is it the center position for the blues that requires more or what?
so far jackman has not played bad. the third will be when his passese come.
so that five on three weber chicken wings the stick then throws it and that is hooking.
how do the refs not know about this as it seems every player on every team in the league makes this cheap play.
and even though that huge dive by neal went unpunished in the game will he be fined by the nhl? does the count reset or is he in the territory where the coach gets fined as well? |

allen played great. that grand theft on ribiero was sick.
nasville two five on threes and nothing. fisher got robbed by him then slashes it out of his glove which is perfectly legal in hockey and he stopped him again.
he had me nervous early on and then was really good.
shatty comes back and score four no problem. petro get a blast on net and magically it is a goal.
i think they need to wait on playing fabbri in ten games. i think he needs to get a bit stronger.
steen had a good game.
backes was solid and he is so powerful a pants tap slash can make players fall down. |

I have a pretty stacked team, but the reason I love him even more than my top guns is that I got him for free as a free agent and he's been a stud so far. Plus the guy is fun to watch.
It's always nice seeing a lesser hyped rookie breakout. |

that is true. but as for mcdavid that kid is fun to watch...was fun to watch. but hearing the public relations or rather the marketing message love this guy, this guy is special buy, buy his new sweater. worship the next great one.
it is cool because you thought here is a guy who in a few years might be on your team and has size and a higher ceiling than you might think. then bam he just keeeps impressing all the way to makng the team and then you can barely tell he is a rookie most of the time.
i like it especially since he went to fairbanks. fairbanks is an awesome place. i often miss it. if you could farm up there i would do it. playing hockey up there is a blast. |

i thought neal overacted his dive and so i did not vote the oscar for him. but man josi did a pire belly flop and really sold it. hitting a turn and if he were tripped-slashed he really found a way to avoid crashing into the boards awkwardly.
nice blues home win.

First thing I thought when Petro score was finally. See what happens when you actually hit the net. Hey carcus, he is half way to his 2
I said it last year with Fabbri and it's still true. This kid just isn't big and strong enough for the NHL but this year he is a lot closer. |

It's well documented that draft was weak. Jarmo tried trading back and couldn't. He selected best player available in Rundblad.
Jarmo was the one who wanted a second 1st round pIck late in that 2010 draft.
Because Jarmo loved Taresenko. - Trust In Jarmo
I love how you give Jarmo all the credit for what happened when he was an underling but as for his time as the head honcho, you don't have a word to say. So by your own admission, he was better suited as a scout |

IHMO, only because of the injuries to Stastny and Schwartz. If all are healthy, I think it's a long trial run before heading back to jr. |

That logic is solid. So, does the third line look like Fabbri/ Gomez/ Havlat going forward? I don't recall how good of a two-way player Havlat is. He never struck me as all that talented at the 200 foot game...
Current lines?
Steen/ Lehtera/ Tarasenko
Paajarvi or Jaskin /Backes/ Brouwer
Fabbri/ Gomez/ Havlat or Paajarvi or Jaskin?
Upshall/ Broadziak/ Reaves
If Fabbri is going to stay, I'd kinda like to see him play with Backes and Brouwer. That would give him the maximum amount of space... |
