I don't know if anybody read(red) 89's post to suggest Murray was holding any moral high ground. I read(red) it to suggest Murray's position is "when booze gets in the way of hockey, you're on your way out."

I question the ROR incident as well

Zadorov is a big kid that can play when he wants to and he is what Murray is looking for to build this team however, a couple things he did and said before his public incidents is what got him shipped off.

My uncle's close friend is on the Sabres staff, has been for a while now so I get info now and then, sometimes not the whole thing but pretty close. I have been wrong in the past and have no problem with addmitting it.

Amia is lazy, not to sure about if Zads is a drunk but i'm sure he has a few now and then, I'm not sure on the Lemieux thing and I think you and I agree, Myers doesn't need counseling, he just didn't fit into Murray's plan. IMO, that's hard to believe with his size and speed but it's not my team.

i mean good lord- an 18 year old instant millionaire (almost anyway) says and does some ill advised things and suddenly he done. i know- way more $$$ and pressure now and these guys know their stuff but damn...

I agree, we need D and to move Big Z does make a hole to fill but I guess Murray fely different about it.
