Baby steps... Lets win the majority on this road trip and see...
Goaltending is still an issue. Fortunately the offense stepped up after that Kessel goal.
Hamilton looks more comfortable. I"d like to see he an Brodie consistently. Gio can play with anyone and thrive.

If that goal didn't make your junk wiggle just a little bit, then there is something seriously wrong with you.

Actually all the goals against Pittsburgh were beauts. Bennett's was something else though.

Ferland may slot in against the panthers in place of Mayray.

......never though I'd say this but I agree. Sure he block alot of shots, but that's because he can't move the puck out of his own zone.

@bigern

100% agree. At the very least he needs less minutes. It doesn't make sense that he had more toi than anyone else against the pens.

Honestly, I think Bob is forcing BT's hand...

He refuses to sit the guys that he's loyal to, regardless of how poopty they play. Move him for offense and the problem is solved.

Move Russell for Perron. Both pending UFA and similar cap hits.

I've always noticed that Russell was playing like poop. All he does is dump the puck and block shots. He's highly overrated and the longer Calgary waits to trade him the more his trade value lowers.

Remember a couple of weeks ago when the Bennett for Stamkos rumors were floating around?......Ya, lets go ahead and not do that. That kid has a great talent and we better lock him up. His goal was sick but the set-up to Colbourne was a great read.

Hamilton has looked much better the last few games and I thought he was particularly good against the Pens. If Russel or Wideman are traded I don't think I'd be too upset. Wides was so far out of position on the Pens power play goal.

They still need to put a decent winning streak together. They are improving, but need to find consistency. Happy but hesitant to say they have turned the corner.

Agreed. They have looked much better but also still look fragile. One bad bounce or bad goal and it seems like it could still throw them off their game.

Why are we trading away our D? This isn't a video game people relax haha. Russell is well liked in the room, the last thing you wanna do is start trading people away because they have a few bad games.

Comon now boys, Russell has already started to round into last years form and we're already throwing him under a bus. Talk to me in December about Russell's woes and then maybe I'll change my tune. Until then you Russell haters sound like a bunch of Oiler fans, for reals...

TJ Brodie isn't very well, HE IS the best defender on this team and will be a lock for the 2016 world cup

While I think he is in the convo for sure but calling him a lock is a bit crazy ...Keith and doughty are locks ...TJ Brodie is not a lock ....but he is giving hockey Canada something to think about

He has always been pretty bad. All he did was block shots and dump the puck in last season as well. The rest of the team just made him look good and hid his downfalls. I don't think he's worth the raise he's apparently going to get. I hope it's from a different team is all I'm saying.

Brodie has been brilliant to say the least and has been an inspiration in the Flames success. The defense had been awesome against the Penguins and so was the offensive contribution. Overall, everyone has played up to par.

Seems like Hartley disagrees with you very much. Hopefully his poor start equates to a contract in the 3.25 mill range.
