Pittsburgh trades Jordan Staal to Carolina to be with his brother. Acquired by Jim Rutherford - GM of the Hurricanes at the time.

Then Rurtherford becomes the GM of Pittsburgh.

And now Rutherford will acquire the OTHER Staal brother - Eric - and leave Jordan Staal in Carolina all alone with nothing but his incredible rich and horrible team.

What a pile of BS. Pittsburgh currently has no players on LTIR. No way in hell you can get E. Stalls cap hit in Pitts even at the trade deadline unless you can peddle off crap. Carolina isn't taking back a bunch of aging vets; crap, making to much money. Their bleeding & losing millions annually. Pittsburgh has virtually no prospects & have already shipped out next years 1st to Toronto in the Kessel trade; conditional, & 2nd in the Winnik trade last year.

Why would Carolina take any crap from Pittsburgh when teams will actually move solid prospects & picks when the time comes & E. Staal is auctioned off. Pittsburgh simply doesn't have the assets to buy E. Stall.

Do you just wake up everyday and draw teams blindly from a hat and then say that their best player with usually a high cap hit and predict they will be traded to usually a team with cap issues. If so your doing a wonderful job. And might want to consider being a weatherman with your crazy predictions.

HORNQVIST WOULD HAVE TO BE A PART OF THIS TRADE, MAYBE SCUDERI AS WELL IF CAROLINA IS WILLING TO TAKE HIM. DRAFT PICKS WOULD HAVE TO BE PART OF IT AS WELL AND PENS DON'T HAVE MANY.
