I've seen a few. He is. I don't think the gap is all that huge, but he is better. He's faster than Eichel and that's what makes it even more impressive.

This year is a great rookie class in the NHL, and if Eichel does not win the Calder, I hope nobody gets upset.

He is younger than anyone who might win and is developing at the NHL level.

Awesome class but really it more because this years class is a combination of last years class and this years. Ekblad was the only real player to stick in the league last year. You kind of see the same thing happen after the CBA lock-outs.
