So, in what way are Weber and Edler useful to this team at this point? With a transition to new defensement taking over, at this point I would not mind seeing Edler traded for a big asset as teams still covet him, and hammer resigned for 1-2 more seasons until a younger Defenseman shows he has what it takes.

There are teams in the east that would jump on Edler...Carolina Detroit and Philly to name a few that have consistently shown interest. We need to move him while he is still worth a 2nd.

Hammer we can no longer get a 1stfor and his best days are clearly behind him. The speed of the game is passing him by and I really don't think we can risk keeping him around even though I like him. If we could pack up Edler and Hammer we could get a high first at TDL but if they go each on their own at this point a 2nd is we will garner for each.

It's time to move on from Hammer.

Loved seeing them replay the time Torts was yelling at Hanson on the bench; good to see Hansen show his old coach what he's capable of.

Hated seeing Connauton play a good game, physical and good puck possession. He's a big guy that can handle the front to of the net.

Derrick Roy for a 2nds rd pick and Connauton

Don't forget two fourth rounders and Ellington for Pahlsson...

First place in the Pacific!

Imagine where the Canucks could be if they can get their special teams going?
