Abdelkader is good. Hes everything you want in a player. IMO/good contract.

When I watch a game sometimes I don't even follow the puck but watch a shift or two of what a particular player is doing, especially without the puck. You'll get a better insight into the strengths and weaknesses of certain guys. After all, that's how scouts evaluate players.

When I watch a game sometimes I don't even follow the puck but watch a shift or two of what a particular player is doing, especially without the puck. You'll get a better insight into the strengths and weaknesses of certain guys. After all, that's how scouts evaluate players.

That's why I like sitting in the higher seats. You get a much better picture of what's going on during a game when you're not right on top of the ice and you can really see the plays developing.

I guess the only good part is that if one team looks awful you can hope the other one doesn't and switch over to that game instead.

Exactly, you get a good feel up there just watching certain players. I like that idea. It's also where the scouts sit to evaluate the players they came to watch. It's a little more challenging on tv but you can still do it.
