They were making Duchene trades before the game. Fun positive place in there. Simmonds, Streit, and 2nd were tossed around as a legit thing |

I'm kind of worried Reinhart will never be very good. I don't think he will be a bust, just doesn't look like he is providing much at this point.
Usually with young players, the talent is evident, but the mistakes or immaturity is what holds them back.
Reinhart just kind of doesn't do a whole lot.
Again, not saying he's a bust, would just be surprised if he is more than a 2nd line player for us down the road - sbroads24
My concern with him prior to the draft was that he is the next hodgson. All the skills in the world but just doesnt go hard enough or compete. I was worried cus I heard the nucks wanted him at the draft but in turns out they were trying to land bennett. |

In the games I've seen, he has a bad habit of taking penalties at bad times. Think Mike Weber. - HonkFortheGoose
he can be a bruiser, a smarter weber that can put up points |

So my best friend/brother was killed in Ramadi, he is the reason i joined the military. I Served 5 years active, every year since ive been home, on veterans day i go and have a beer with him at forest lawn where he is burried. They close at 5pm and i get out at 430pm work is giving me a hard time about wanting to leave at 4pm to make it there. Am i wrong to be upset? |

Hey look, I'm not saying Murray should go, just that he gambled big on those 2 trades that so far have played out exactly as some said they would, Lehrner, Bogo, and Kane were all known to be injury prone and so far they've lived up to exactly that.....and there's no denying we gave up a sh*t ton to get them.
Kane has completed 70% of the last 3 full NHL seasons
Bogo has completed 66% of the last 3 full NHL seasons - nikel
I liked that trade with the Jets. It says its time for the playoffs and the rebuild is over. You guys are one of the few teams who can afford to give away multiple assets for talent now. Honestly, didnt like the Lehner deal felt it was to much to give up but hopefully it works out. |

1. big difference between first line player and all star
2. he needs snipers to play with, not fringe 3rd line players
3. he does have potential to have all star vision on the ice
4. you ignored my coupons - homiedclown
Usually top line centers make the players around him better.
Again, I know he is young, and I'm not expecting a ton this year.
But if you have watched Larkin, Bennett, Draisaitl or even McCann. It's clear he is behind in his class. I just worry we drafted a meh 2nd liner.
I hope I am dead ass wrong |

again, those players you mention are not playing third fiddle with legwand and deslauriers
you put the skunk on a line with ror and eichel, for 10 games what do you think he does
I'll tell you, he puts up what Larkin, Bennett, Draisaitl or even McCann does, if not more

Agreed. I play golf occasionally with a few guys who are Viet Nam vets and they share some stories with me fighting the VC. One story is particularly moving. Everyone should take just 2 minutes and stop and think about these guys and gals who serve.

The things that they went through back then are unreal and nobody will every understand the evil that they saw. I mean it was no cake walk in Iraq, but those guys were on a different level. The things my grandfather used to tell me before he passed used to chill me to the bone. |

Does that mean that Giroux is overrated? Because I don't think he's been all that great since they moved a lot of the other big names that were on that team years ago. |

They shouldn't be closing at 5 on veteran's day, first off.
I've personally snuck into Forest Lawn after hours several times for far worse reasons.
I think if they even were to notice and have an issue, you'd have a good excuse to an employee, a cop, or a newspaper - in that order.
Just be careful with those wrought-iron fences. |
