Does anyone know the story of how Bob Kelly's career ended? He had a really strong season with the Caps, and then only played 16 games the following season. I'm assuming an injury?

Bob Kelly decided to retire, much like Brett Hull, and walk away.guess he didn't like the mess that was the early 80s Caps

But you wait until the deadline and the offseason when you are dealing from a little more position of strength. Trying to trade anyone now would be like getting bent over the railing and taking it backdoor jail style.

I would let Luke Schenn and Sam Gagner walk this summer. I would trade Read and Raffl. I would try to get Umberger and Vinny out but they're not the only ones. Mark Streit I think could be a pretty good return at the deadline.

How about an ALL TIME Flyers roster compiled ONLY of players that were drafted by the organization?

There is no way they can trade Raffl unless theyve preemptively replaced him. You cant head into an off season with Read and RJ are your top two wingers with nothing but Straka and Leier close to being NHL ready.
