But we all know they wouldn't accept that. Nor are we in a position to give up a top 3 blue liner seeing as how we have almost zero depth on the point. - SayBeers
Having Risto, Bagosian, Pysyk, and Franson all as RH d-men...
I think we're ok, trading one of those guys away.
Look to UFA for LH d-man next yr. |

No, they couldn't. He was pissed that he got traded because he was playing well essentially. He said he couldn't believe an organization would make a move like that. He also found out about the trade on TV instead of finding out from the organization first.
He wanted nothing to do with coming back here, even if Murray had wanted him to. - HonkFortheGoose
Yeeeaaahh... That's not good.

Kane/Duchene/O'Riley
Girgensons/Eichel/Reinart
..../Ristolinen
..../Bagosian
Ok, so trade Ennis, Moulson, and Pysyk for Duchene...
And we're only top 4 d-men away from being rock solid for the foreseeable future!
(Webber/Franson is a fine, and still youthful 3rd pair, of "roleplayer" types). |

If we move one of our RHD it is for a LHD. There is no way the Avs are trading Duchene for anything we have left over after the ROR deal. |

Or how about Bagosian, Moulson, and a 2nd? - SuperCat
I would do this trade too. We haven't had Bogo in the line yet and the team seems to be doing okay without him. Moulson is definitely expendable if you're adding Duchene, and the pick is no big deal. If we could add a quality d-man in this years UFA market then will be all set for next year. |

I don't think you will see Bogo or Moulson being moved, Larsson would go before them. ROR, Eichel and Gus as centers unless Duchene plays RW. |

he needs to get me 1 more td and about 80 more yards so I feel good playing him over palmer in my money leagues |

How about Ennis, Pysyk, and our 2nd rd pick in 2016?
If TM can essentially upgrade Ennis to Duchene, all while keeping his future top6 in tack), as well as keeping top 2 d-men (Risto & Bagosian)....
He'd clean up, ragardless of the sape parts we'd trade away!! - SuperCat
How about we just keep the guys we have right now and let things play out for a bit?

Gotcha. I wouldn't have any problem with him, put up decent numbers in Dallas and the Hawks need to clear cap. |

I like Duchene but as of right now the need is for a LHD and to see where the goalie situation goes when Lehner comes back. It does not make any sense to start making " big " trades as of now. |

Seems like it would be an odd move for Chicago. They're struggling on defense. They just got Keith back this weekend. Daley has played well for them from what I've seen. Moving him would mean that they'd have to leave Svedberg in and he's struggled pretty bad for them. He's not really ready for full time NHL duty. |

He doesn't seem like he is fitting in with the Hawks, maybe that's why they are looking to move him. The Hawks got Keith and Rosival back I think. |

I agree that having him back would be a nice addition, but I've also been impressed with what these young kids have done so far without him, that is why I'd be willing to let him go to get a player of Duchene's caliber. I would mean though, throwing money at somebody during the off season because we don't have anybody waiting in the wings for the next few years. Martin, Guhle are big question marks. Or maybe we can get a quality vet on the cheap by eating up a big contract (Campbell?) |

I'll admit I haven't seen any Hawks games this year but just taking a wild guess at it maybe they are high on Pokka and would like to call him up or create space to bring Bickell back up. Again just a guess. Or is a Daley move to Buff a prelude to something else? |

bogo gets weber out of the lineup
