Sadly, the return for Kessel seems to be a late 1st, maybe and a bottom pairing D.

I'm on my phone and refuse to get into a heated convo about this. Maybe burn is on a PC and can sock it to you

Ok fine, you think its funny, I don't, leave it at that I guess.
- sloppyseconds2

I don't think it's funny. I'm pissed. It's horrendous goaltending at its absolute finest.

What else is someone to do? Literally everyone is laughing at the ridiculousness of it.

I went on my rant BEFORE I saw the goal he let in from the other time zone.

Bernier's body language is awful after he lets in a softy too. There is no battle in that guys DNA whatsoever. He just packs it in and starts his own pity party. You could see it for the rest of the game. He wanted to be doing anything else than playing that game. Would have been nice if he thought to himself, hmmmm, guys are playing a hell of a game, I should give it my all for the guys even though tomorrow they will be talking about the red line goal regardless of a win or loss.

Yeah. You don't know if any of that is true though.

You make it to the NHL you're a competitor.

Hey Teebs, they play hard, can't ask for much more with this line up, they try.

Babcock has them playing a simple game. It's going to work once this team get's some high end talent.

Bernier will be playing in Europe in 2017... If he's lucky.

Hopefully sooner.

I think they're waiting for the prospects to mature, some good things in the minors right now. Time will tell.

Lupul playing with determination. Made Keith Yandle look silly tonight. Leafs planning to keep him?

Some prospects ripping it up so far, so good. It's impressive that Babcock has this team competing well in games, when you look at the roster...there's almost nothing there, but they're competitive. Hopefully eventually the talent will be be there.

If he is playing well and not injured at the deadline I'll bet he's gone.

I've gotta disagree with this... He made some big saves after the first bad goal.

But goddamn that last one

Leafs fought hard to put that first one behind them, and he ruins it in the last minute.

Hard to say, might shop him for a good return, or keep him, he's one of the only goal scorers they have besides JVR, Kadri needs a kick in the nuts soon.

Hopefully he's increased his trade value. They should deal him before he gets injured.

@mirtle: Jonathan Bernier has seven wins and a .9025 save percentage in his last 40 games. That's a long time.
