Biggest problem is Cam Ward (frank)ing sucks and I'm not sure Hainsey or Liles can actually see anymore. They skate like hell, but are literally NEVER in position.

We'd be better off playing Michal Jordan every night and Jordan is (frank)ing AWFUL.

He's the perfect rebuild year goalie. Keeps the team in it, so the games aren't terrible to watch, but gives up the easiest goals at the worst moments just in time to not let his team sneak away with at least a point. I would marry him if he asked nicely.

ii) if I think he should be in a "show me" situations (like Kadri) - then one year max

But you're ignoring the realities of NHL negotiations. The 2 yr deal wasn't a "reward" for Bernier. I'm sure he was asking for a 4,5 or 6 yr deal at starter dollars. The options could have been much worse.
