Manning deserves more than 10-15 games to show what he has, in a regular role. AMAC has already proven to be nothing more than a detriment on both teams he's played on. The contract is the WORST IN THE LEAGUE. It's really not even close with that kind of term, for a guy who, at best, is a #7 dman.

Manning might be able to turn into a 3rd pairing dman, who you can count on to play simple hockey for 15 mins a night. Amac couldn't even do that.

Schultz, and Gudas, have been incredibly bad so far this year with the eye test.

Medvedev probably has the most tools than anyone else, however needs time to adjust, hopefully this scratching is short lived, and he replaces schultz or gudas when he comes back.

That's a bunch of garbage that's unsupported by the facts. The only area MacDonald really struggled in last season was in producing ES offense. And he still scored at a pace higher than Manning and Del Zotto are at this season.

And Clarkson's contract is much worse due to the massive bonuses making it impossible to gain a lot of cap space thru a buy out. Do some research next time.

His contract is horrible, but he's better at playing ice hockey at the National Hockey League level than Brandon Manning is. If Manning had a rough 5-10 games but was showing signs of progressing, that's fine. However, he seems to have gotten worse if anything. The experiment has failed, move on.

Trust me, as most around here can attest to, I haven't forgotten how useless AMac was last season, nor do I care to ever see him in a Flyers uniform.

Of course I feel pretty much the same about L Schenn, Manning and Schultz too.

I've pulled a 71, 70, 74, 73, and 69 (HA) in the exams I've taken so far. Need 70s to pass. This is stressful. Finals might actually mean something now

MacDonald was better last season, in a more difficult role, than Manning has been this season. Not sure why Manning deserves more than 10-15 games when he's been exceptionally bad in a sheltered role.

He got some short-sighted universal praise last season for not being (frank)ing horrible compared to the rest of our defense and that warrants a 2-year $2.5M per extension. The dude (frank)ing SUCKS. He's like a worse, slower, more afraid of the puck version of Sean O'Donnell who is a jack of no trades master of being below adequate.
