Watching the GF's ass while she vacuums is more enjoyable than watching the Canucks, and she has a flat ass. |

If Vancouver keeps playing like this home ice won't exactly be an advantage. |

I didn't think it was a bad game by Vancouver.
Good physical game.
Pp goal
No shorties.
Plenty of chances by Vancouver...suppose that this is what happens when you're icing 4-5 rookies per game.

I'd be surprised if they would loan them? Any mention yet? I doubt that too...

Wow, that's pretty hurtful. Loses to Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and then Winnipeg. I knew we'd be so-so, but that's just gross. |

IMO hamonic is our best defenseman. This one hurts. - Isles_since_6
I don't think Snow should accept anything less than fair value, so it shouldn't hurt once the deal is done.
In any case, I'd ask the Nux for Hutton or Tanev, vet that can fill a hole in the forward group and a prospect to fill a future need.
I'd prefer Tanev, since he'll help you win now more than Hutton in the playoffs. The vet you need is a guy who can help stabilize things in the playoffs, like Higgins. |

I think you need to win more than one in 7 to make the playoffs. If our division wasn't so useless we would be planning next year already. We win one in 7 and move up in the standings . |

Twenty game evaluation.
Started strong and won games in our division , then we find out our division sucks. I think we are a bottom 10 team.
There are nice things to look forward to, but it is now time to change the rest of the core. You can see with Hamhuis and Vrbata we waited too long to move them for value and you will see with the twins and Elder that we can fall into the same problem. Three and four years can be an eternity. If you move players this year we can have 38 million in cap space and prospects and picks.
Pull the band aid off Jim. |

Yes the division is weak but it will balance out in a month or two. Gotta be .500 on the road to get a sniff of the playoffs. We aren't even close. Is it luck we are in a crappy div right now? hard to say |

It blows my mind the Oilers are favoured to get the top pick again. They should be disqualified from the league and sent to the AHL along with Coyotes. |

There is a good chance the rebuild could be in full swing after TDL. Miller, Hammer, Edler, Higgins, Vrbata, Burrows all need to be approached for trades after Jan 1. Hansen needs to stay for now but if the return is there we may need to jump on it. Not at all opposed to moving Tanev either.
Hard to say if it will be picks or an impact player or two or both.
Hammer and Vrbata are barely worth 2nds right now. Hopefully that will change come TDL but you may be correct. We very well may finish in the bottom ten which is totally fine. Looking at the impact of some of the kids already we need another stud pick. |
