I know they won't be moved but I am forewarning you that people in here will be screaming in two years how bad they are.
This year at the beginning of the year we heard about Team Canada Hamhuis and 30 goal scorer getting us a first round pick at TDL. Some were even suggesting give Hamhuis 4 more years. Their Trade Value has fallen more than Leaf Fans expectations on Dec 26th .
The time to move them was this past summer. Sedins have high value now but in two years when everyone is b1tching about cycle games , slow speed and drop passes we will still be stuck with Edler and the twins and no way out. - VANTEL
What would it take to get Hamonic?
He's had a rough start stats wise but may be the right hand shot we need.
Hamhuis + +? |

Horvat continues to collect the minuses, another -2 last night. - LeftCoaster
It will continue with his rotating linemates. |

If they can get him without trading Tanev or Hutton that would be great but I'm pretty sure they will want a young defenseman back. |

I'd actually be ok moving Tanev for Hamonic. Tanev's game (to me) is much better suited for the east anyways. |

I would do Tanev for Hamonic. He is a lot tougher than Tanev |

I am not worried about Horvat . It is not uncommon to have a sophomore jinx. He will bounce back. You are right though , he needs Sutter to come back so he can go back to third line duties |

There is an awful lot on his plate, playing some hard minutes for a guy in his second year.
I hope JB looks to address the need for a bigger piece of sandpaper, somewhere in the lineup, that can skate.
I hate playing against the Jets, feel they are cheap shot guys and by a large portion of the team playing that way it seems like the refs let it go in order to manage the game. But if they were my team, I'd enjoy the smash mouth style they play. |

Tanev 1 goal 3 assists. 4 pims
Hamonic 0 goals 3 assists. 10 pims
I'd rather trade Edler , but this deal looks fair. |

That is why it was always good to have a guy like Messier on the roster. He was always willing to take on for the team. Or was it from the team. |

and unnecessary, it was a clean hit. - Marwood
A clean hit on their best young sniper. Who left for repairs. I would take exception to that as well. At least Sbisa manned up. |

He sure is calling Conner a lot. Seems a little needy. I wonder how many times McDavid has had to tell him he is straight? |

Good in the locker room, great in the shower?
Seriously though, with some of the size mismatches, I don't know why JB would want Sbisa to fight Peluso? Even if Dorsett stepped up or Prust was back, they are not in the same weight class as Buff and a lot of the bigger players on other teams.
And then again, once we got past some of that stuff and the Canucks played their game, they had some success. Still, I'd like to see some push pack, but the slightest thing that happens towards a Jets player, and it was like, it's on.
Was that Schiefele diving head first towards Miller and the puck in that goal mouth scramble? would have been a brawl if that was Pavelec. |

Ya but they'd most likely want Tanev. hamonic's # from last season are outstanding way more upside than Tanev points nd toughness. |

Gve Sbisa credit for answering the call for the hit on Ehlers. Yes it was a clean hit but he stood up to Peluso regardless of getting pounded. At least he didn't chicken shat run away like Kassian did from Gadzic |
