Bartkowski and Vrbata are both rentals, expiring contracts. Vrbata isn't known for his playoff production and his usually reliable regular season 25ish goals are nowhere to be found, so, not enough... but not against the thought.

I would offer Edler, Higgens and Vey for Hamonic and a salary dump.
Edler could/should waive to go to the big apple, play on a contending team, etc.
I could be wrong but you don't hear about him as a family man having roots in the city (beyond playing with some fellow swedes).

Hell no, pulock isn't available if I'm snow and edler hasn't been good for a while now. I'd look at hamhuis and virtanen, but I still don't like it because hamhuis is much older and a ufa, and hamonic has a great contract. He's our second best player behind Tavares.
