I like talented players just like everyone else, and I know the Flyers could use more of them

But, to me anyway, it is something totally other to (in the heat of a contest) be rooting for your team to lose. And that something other.. it is something that makes me ill. I can't do it. I won't do it. You can have all the tanks in the Soviet Red Army, but give me victory.

Well put and, as I said earlier, I root for them to win every night.

But I don't lose sleep when they lose right now. The organization needs more high end talent. The best way to acquire that is with high 1st round picks.

Something I noticed....when Ghost and Manning played with G's line they had their 2 best shifts....a lot to be said for playing skill with skill.
