I'm old-fashioned, but there is not a single moment of my life as a fan where I have rooted for the Flyers to lose

I get it: Younger generation thinks differently, fewer trades, salary cap restraints all make tanking seem to make sense

I like talented players just like everyone else, and I know the Flyers could use more of them

But I will never root for them to lose for a better pick. I'm just not wired that way. Doesn't make me a better fan or worse fan -- it's just an opinion. But I will never root for them to lose, not care of they win or lose

I want them to win every single time they play. I know they won't, but I want them to (frank)ing win every single (frank)ing time

I find it annoying how often Schenn-Schultz get deployed with Coots line in o zone when Hakstol sees the top line against out. Send out an offensive dynamo for an o zone face off at times. Its not like he doesn't, but not enough for my tastes.

Also, I counted at least two times where Schultz had a clear lane for an o zone entry, even with his skating, and with numbers, and he just did a lame slap shot dump-in that resulted in Sharks regaining possession immediately both times. Bleh.

I'm done trying to disect the little nuances... this team is a bad team and dire need of serious upheaval on that roster... I don't want them to tank but i exlect changes and if it means young players taking lumps so be it. but worrying about who pairs with who and what pass a guy makes in certain situations seems to be an excersize in futility with this bunch.
