Per Eklund - Canadiens interested in "Radek" Vrbata. Long lost cousin of Radim Bonk for all those who remember

Does this have anything to do with the new James Bond flick?

Surprisingly, the Canucks have 56 goals for, which is second in the Western Conference to only Dallas (71). It's their goals against that's hurting them.

Tighten it up Willie!!!

Not Millers fault he has been our best player.

Our defence sucks. Right now the only one doing okay is Tanev and he's playing hurt. Which is still better than Hamhuis and Elder.

Vrbata is sucking.

The Sedins are making to many lazy defensive plays.

Sutter is doing about what I thought which isn't a whole hell of a lot.

Burrows is a nice consistent player who is playing not bad hockey.

Horvat will get it together but isn't at the top of his game yet.

McCann and Virtanen are doing what has been asked of them as far as rookies go.

Hansen is our best forward right now.(I can't believe I just wrote that.)

Higgins well is Higgins.

I am happy with Dorsett, Crackers and Prust.

Sven has been playing good 2 way hockey but needs to find the net. He isn't ready for the NHL I don't know if he will be. I would go with Shink over him full time but that is my own personal bias talking.

When you have guys like Sbisa taking on fights with monsters above his weight class where the hell are guys going to back him up.

To at least defend my team I do have to say that the refereeing has been bull$hit this whole road trip. The league needs to get their $hit together.

P.S. Video review is (frank)ing stupid. I do however really like the 3 on 3 even though we have sucked at it.

Sutter has been hurt.

Re. Sbisa, for the most part he, Dorsett, and Prust were brought in/signed to back up the team because everyone else would rather skate away from any scrum or altercation.

not a lot to argue with.

You didn't touch on WD...

I am a bit mixed on my opinion... want to see the kids play more, hate the games when guys get less than around 9 minutes but every time we see a national broadcast, we hear how many Canucks are playing their first game.

The process may not be a blowup, but it is a rebuild. With that much youth in the lineup, WD doesn't want to throw them in the deep end. If the vets are scoring great, no pressure on the kids. If the vets aren't scoring, there is a little more pressure on the kids. If you start turning to the kids more and more and they don't score, I think that is what WD is worried about.

If we can get Prust, Sutter and Sbisa back, we look and play like a different team.

(at least this is what I have been telling myself.)

I focus on injuries and start thinking seriously about what this team would look like if it moves out the pending UFAs in the new blog.

I thin WD is dong fine. I am probably the minority but I actually like what I see. When he gave the Sedins the stink eye on the bench a few games ago. for lazy play. I guarantee you that he gave them an ear full in the locker room after the period. When you get scored on after a lazy play you can be sure to have a pi$$ed off coach.
