that is my beef with ennis, he has shown to be much better in his own end and the little things he worked hard at, has not been a part of his game lately

What i noticed last night was that at times he seems to get bogged down by the slower pace of the players around him.

Just look at when he turned the jets on during the last few minutes of play, went straight up the middle to challenge 2 D men and they were definately not expecting that from him....seems that where he excels is when he holds onto the puck and finishes what he creates.

I think a lot of the speed thing has to do with adjusting to the style play of the opposition as well. St. Louis plays a very physical game, but other than Tarasenko, they don't typically fly up and down the ice, and their overall system shows that. They're much more prone to slowing things down and beating on the opposition. He needs to learn how to be successful in games like that. But he's only 19 and it's only 19 games into his NHL career.

trust me, i have no issues with him or the skunk

with risto, eichel and the skunk we have a trio to build this team around for the next decade

honestly.. the skunk has impressed me the most out of those three.. maybe it was the high expectations for the other 2 but he has impressed me more.

Ennis needs either to be sat upstairs for a game which sucks with Girgensons being hurt or he needs to be dealt.

He is becoming the Max version of himself again and I don't like it.

He's playing a top pair role which is out of his element and has held his own. IMO helps Risto push the tempo at times

if you ask me today, the best way to improve the team is thin out the bottom roster and get 1 sniper up front

I like Foligno on the 4th line. Not sure who the best option at center is on that line though. Haven't really had an issue with Legwand, but he's a UFA and I'd rather they didn't resign him personally.
