Not surprising. Hutton I think will be a top D but right now Tanev is the best

I said I know they are the best players on the team. I also agree that this team would be in the dumpster this year without them as Lefty said.

That said it would probably lead us to Mathews or another excellent pick, 3 good prospects, 2 first round draft picks and 20 mil in cap space to replace them. I don't think that is an unreasonable post.

In three years when the Sedins are gone and all we have are memories we will be complaining that we should have got something for them.

I'm not ready for a dumpster team, this rebuild on the fly is working quite well, there is already 5-7 rookies playing this year, and that mentoring by skilled players like the Sedins is essential.

If you trade them the way suggested, in 3 years time we will still be a bubble team with the memories of why they traded the most dynamic duo in the game.

Date night got cancelled last night due to kids puking all over. Well worth it to stay in and watch that Sedin show. Just wow. Also the the getting of special treats at the end of the 3rd period.Good wine, great take out. Great night minus the kid being sick. Feeling pretty dam good this morning. I know it goes unnoticed, unless he plays poorly, but Edler played a heck of a game last night. I just wish he could do that every night.
