The goaltending and defense have been solid for this team and have had them in every game. And thats against the Eastern confernece champs 4 times and the leagues top offense twice in a row. However Gionta, Girgensons, Foligno Ennis and Kane are on pace for a combined 30 goals(not counting games missed). That must change.

We definitely need more scoring from the bottom 6.

I thought Dan should have challenged the 3rd goal, as Benn looked offside to me...might have stayed a 2-goal game with about 10 minutes left if it was reversed.

But we really needed a goal on the 5 on 3, and we took way too many penalties.

ennis is the most frustrating out of the whole lot bcz the things i love about his game are also the things i hate about him.

Yes, and the first 8 games were his first games back after shoulder surgery. He's got 3 points in 10 games. And then he will have another injury we can make excuses about.

Kane made a very nice pass to 15 last night that should have been buried. He is capable of making good, unselfish plays that don't include 40-foot bad angle shots.

And please, it's bad enough going on over the injuries that have already happened...let's not borrow trouble by moaning about ones that have not happened yet!

Talent wise from top to bottom, I think that's how the lines should look, I also think that 4th line could be nasty.

I said this the other day too. Scoring overall needs to be improved through the roster, but I think the main issue is that when the primary scorers aren't producing, we're getting 0 production from anywhere else.

If this team can pick up on the offense, and with the way the D and goaltending look, we'll win more than lose. They have a few tough games this week with the Blues and Preds.

Which was the big knock on him. I like the guy as a player. He just isn't that great, and we are missing a top line winger (assuming Reinhart or O'Reilly eventually play 1st line wing)
