that is a silly question....who would you have rather had, Forsberg or Falloon? one was taken 6th and one 2nd. you can do this exercise for any draft year. I rather keep my assets and continuing adding to the organization. its not like we are talking about drafting 15th vs 1st. for what it would take to move to 1 knowing how many holes this team has....I stay put

I know its early but what is the sense of the 2016 group vs the 2015 group? stronger, weaker or similar?

It's a bit weaker, but good depth near top. Button has been raving about PierreLuc Dubois, projected top 10 guy. But there's a handful of forwards besides Matthews who will be tempting. Matthew Tkachuk, Jesse Puljujärvi, Alexander Nylander, Patrick Laine & Julien Gauthier all being natural wingers, plus center Michael MacLeod

Konecknees has been slumping a tad lately while all the London and Erie guys have caught gigantic hot streaks. Good to see. He doesn't have as much help as the guys on those teams though, I believe. Hopefully he will score a few goals or else he will be the perfect Flyers prospect

He looks more like a mid 1st rounder, going to North Dakota. Regarded as a smart guy with loads of hockey sense.

Edit: just looked it up, averaging 2 PPG in the BCHL.
