LOL now you're confusing me

(an easy feat to be fair)

are you on the yes reimer is playing over his head side or the no, this is who he is side?

- Dozzer

He is definitely playing over his head, but he's not a bad goalie.
Any goalie in the league with no's like those from the last 1 games would also be playing over their heads.

The only way to win is to learn to win, this is best thing that can happen to the Leafs this year, the only downside is that they did not bring along a couple of young players into this system.

Tanking should not be in a teams vocabulary, I'm even thinking of banning that from the Leafs thread, it's (frank)ing disgusting cheering against your team hoping for them lose.

- LeafMan

I don't think anybody is cheering for them to lose. People are just indifferent. If they win, cool. If they lose, awesome were getting a high pick. We're not winning the cup this year, why not increase our odds of winning it in the future by drafting another marner? The chances of landing a player of his caliber are not likely when you finish 9th. In a lot of ways, tanking is smart. You can't "learn to win" when you don't have good players. I think you are overestimating how far along on our rebuild we are. And getting banned for free speech? Something hockey related on a hockey board? Who are you, Hilary Clinton?

I was happy to see on HNIC that the new coaches are working with him to keep his head movement down but also more deliberate... that's exactly the approach that was taken with Dubnyk

reimer's recent play isn't sustainable? i don't know, i think we can all agree that he has shown signs of being better than hasek and roy combined in the past. this was going to happen eventually.

they are for a draft pic.
But winning breeds a winning environment....losing doesn't.....specially losing like the leafs have.

- Fakepartofme

The 'winning environment" you say we should have this year will not matter when our team is COMPLETELY different next year.

IMO with Reimer it's all about confidence.

When he's feeling good, he's out challenging shooters, tracking the puck, and making sweet saves when he had to.

When he's not, he's all the way back in his net, and lifting his glove hand after the red light goes off.
