Seems like the Keefe system is going just as well. - mykokes
aren't they doing a lot of communication between the big team and the Marlies, to make sure similar roles are developed? |

Travis won't be ready for awhile. He shouldn't be in the conversation. - mykokes
He should be back in April. |

They are doing really well and Brown is still out.
Loov and Percy have been lights out on D. Very promising. |

I didn't say that lol.
I didn't include any season in which he played 0 games and I excluded his first year where he barely played any games. If anything I helped his numbers. - daeth
Gotcha, sorry for jumping to conclusions. 9 year average = 118 game/season. But still, saying he needs to be lucky to play 110 when his career avg is 118? He's just as likely to play 150 than he is 50. |

so far one of your replacements played 62 games..if you are playing the injury thing
Tulo/Goins is far better than Goins/Travis - senstroll
Yeah except I said trade him if that is what it takes to keep Price.
So..
Goins/Travis/Price >>>>>> Tulo/Goins/some stiff
Travis is for sure as much of an injury concern as Tulo. Never suggested otherwise. |

Yeah it's just as dumb as the "pts per 60" stat.
It's designed to make certain players look better than they really are. - Pecafan Fan
The stat should be sponsored by Spanx. |

4-5 months. 5 months has him back in late april, though with AAA games that does put him into may you're right |

Or sign Price and keep Tulo too. That might be possible. I don't know what their budget is. |

Have you checked out Chavez's numbers away from his home pitchers park in Oakland the last couple years?
Expect a high 4 low 5 ERA unless the Jays know how to fix him. - daeth
Does Chavez do well at Dodger Stadium? |

If the Jays are considering signing Price, and money is needed.. you move something else
I dont think its even a debate |

Measure from 12/13 to today and sv% ...
Bernier 917%
Reimer 916%
14th and 15th amongst goalies who've started atleast 100 games during that stretch.
Pretty average. - The Law

Ya but just because I get lucky 4 nights out of 7 doesn't mean that I won't consider it lucky to get lucky tonight.
**also, this is purely hypothetical. I am 'married' with children so I don't really get lucky. |

it feels like the same conversation that was had about Estrada last off season - senstroll
I don't think so - he was pegged as a long relief spot starter, which I thought was fine because it was in return for Lind. In this case, it's in return for a 26 year old long reliever/possible 5th starter who can touch 97, had a solid season, and is under cheap control for 3-4 more years. |

There's the argument that having a knuckleballer in your rotation helps the guy who pitches next: it throws off the opposition team's batters' rhythm. |

lately he's more likely to play 50 than 150 i'd say and to pull a Fox with the turf especially that's true.
avg is 98 games over the last 4 years |
