Why are they so close to .500? That's agitating. |

I dont know that to think about this team.
I really want another top 5 pick ..having the Nylanders and Marners is really fun. a 3rd high end prospect would really great...maybe even a D like chykrchynQdn (might have spelt that wrong)
interesting
Ryan Strome at 20 in AHL 1.32ppg
Nylander at 19 1.35

It's less heartbreaking this way. Losing the lottery with no Eichel to fall back on would have hurt alot more.

Well, we did get Nylander outside the top 5. It's up to our scouts and braintrust to find that guy. Plus we get three cracks at top three with the new lottery system so it's not as gloomy as it would be in previous years when you don't finish dead last.
I agree, chyirjbebchryn would be a nice add. |

As per sportsnet Arizona Coyotes pursuing Alex Anthopoulos. If I knew how to post a link here I would. |

this post is the equivalent to Ward Cleaver telling the Beav to cheer up and that everything will be okay. |

I know...but odds are odds..and having higher odds at those top 3 picks is better (obviously)

Of course. Just trying to look at the bright side.
Plus it would be nice to bring our prospects onto a hard working, structured environment than the mess and debacle this team usually is. Harder to develop players at this level that way. But yeah, of course I'd prefer Matthews. |

its only this season I am worried about.
Next year Nylander and probably Marner are with the leafs.
With MB, the structure is there..not worried about any of that.

calm yourselves...
if there was ever a team that could snatch defeat from the claws of victory(or slightly modest success) it is this one.
close your eyes and image Optimus Prime in truck from... driving off a cliff.

simply put... Babcock had the audacity to play the goaltender who wasn't a trainwreck... and even he had help when Bernier got injured (which is of course a completely bogus injury). |

he's a bust....
otherwise known as Leafs draft pick - that's actually a synonym in the Miriam-Websters sports dictionary.

nope. Stamkos with Kadri and Komagod.
Stamkos is only coming to Toronto because of the opportunity to play with Komagod. |
