Poor Sammy - SABRES 89
He's gone after year 4 or 5. I wouldn't be surprised if he demanded a trade. It's hilarious how inept this team is at getting a star receiver the ball |

I hope we lose 6 straight and draft a QB top 5.
I'm not kidding - sbroads24
Me too kinda. We need a qb so damn bad. Who knows when this organization will wake up. We tried to be Seattle lite this year and it isn't working. |

Houston just chucks the ball in Hopkins direction, same thing we need to do for Sammy. They are very similar players. |

I couldn't care less about ending the drought.
Brady will retire within 2 or 3 years, and the division is wide open. Get the QB now, and become a SB contender in 2-3 years.
You have a couple good building blocks |

Yup, Williams, Watkins, woods, clay all good offensive talent but we need an arm. End of story. This barely sufficient crap isn't doing it for us anymore.

Speaking of, does anyone know why the clock didn't stop when Sammy rolled out of bounds? Were they essentially treating it as though he gave himself up and called him down for that reason? I can't think of any other explanation. - JetpackJesus
Officials ruled him down in bounds......even though he was never touched by the defender, announcers were scratching their heads too.
Every questionable call seemed to err on the side of New England, even the "mystery whistle", ball was in the air when it was blown so by rule the play should have been dead and not completed....couldn't even get that right. |

We are 5-5 and just lost a close one to the best team in the NFL... I'm so glad none of you guys are the GM. I have watched the pats make some of the best qbs in the league look much worse. Only way this season is over is if Tyrod misses time.
Still calling 10-6 as long as Tyrod is playing. Pretty easy schedule after the chiefs.

I haven't seen the Giants do it to anyone else but Taylor.
When Taylor can beat a team better than the Dolphins or Jets, I'll feel differently. But this looks exactly the same as Kyle Orton, EJ, Fitz etc.. Not good enough |

Yeah, gotta stick with Taylor, let's not forget it's his first year starting.
If we clean up the penalties, that's at least 1 more win we'd have at this point. |

You draft a qb atleast in the 2nd round from here on out till one sticks. I don't mind Taylor but he's sufficient at most. We need someone that can win a game on his arm alone.

looks the same? Correct me if im wrong but didn't we lose to the worst team in the nfl with ej in??? Tyrod is a very very big improvement over Fitz, Orton, EJ. His first year as a starter. Only 4 ints all year. He had a bad game. It happens against the pats.
I feel bad for a next rookie QB we draft and play. You guys will be calling for the next guy after game 3. |

Nope on the worst team in the league comment. But we did only manage to beat the worst team in the league by 1 point with Taylor. The fact of the matter is we don't have a qb we can rely on in crunch time. This team is built on possessing the ball, building an early lead and locking opposing offenses down. If part of that formula isn't working we're in for a bad time. |

Stop treating Tyrod like a rookie. He's a 5th year QB. He isn't a good enough passer. He's a great athlete, and a decent QB, and I don't doubt we can go 10-6 with him. But I honestly don't see him as anything close to a SB QB

Book it, Bills lose to the Chiefs...I don't care who the QB is...but bet the house, wife, kids, dog and job when/if EJ walks on the field.
Best thing I did was watch the Vikings / Packers game...it was a primer for the Bills game...I was numb to the Bills futility by the time the game started. |

It's a moral victory. Which means a loss. |

Love the comments like these. It's like all these amazing QBs are out there and we are the only team without one. There are about 7 good QBs in the league and most of them will be retired in 2-3 years. The league has come to a point where the QB position is so hard you may never see the next manning again.
Look at the last couple years, the next big star RG3 might never play again. Kapernick is gonna be cut, Russell Wilson without a dominant D and running game looks extremely avg, the next "manning" in andrew luck is a turnover machine, people talk how dalton is great but the last 3 years was a playoff goat, Matt stafford may not even be resigned, Carr couldn't even throw a TD against the worst D (lions), bridge water blows, Manzel sucks.
People act like their are QBs everywhere. Rex made a nice pickup in tyrod. Is he a future HOFer? No, but he can win a la Kapernick or Wilson with the D and RB. |

They're not "everywhere", but you still need one of them to be a Super Bowl contender in this league. It means you should keep turning your roster over until you find one, and not settle for mediocre or average. |

He did, but let's not make the same mistake we did with Fitz, EJ, Trent and others and think we are set at the position. We aren't. Draft one, and draft one early |
