Sabres won that deal! Armia - Irish 14
It's way too early for either team to be claiming victory on this deal.
Myers has been the best player of anybody involved in this deal so far. However, even at his current playing level, if someone doesn't turn out to be great, it's a wash as far as I'm concerned. |

My main problem isn't even that Myers has produced the most of anyone, it's that we have gotten very, very little this year out of Kane/Bogo.
It's 21 games into the season and we have got a combined 3 points from two players making north of 5 mil, who we moved a bunch for.
I know the injuries are the biggest reason, but they have to produce. |

He better be. We didn't trade a 1st round pick for Robin Lehner so that Kasdorf would not be the starter |

I still think it was a favour move.

It is a little odd that the Sabres skated first, and then the Blues, but Hitchcock addressed the media before Bylsma did.
That being said, if it pisses Harrington off, it was probably the right thing to do. |

I thought it was more of a black mail move.

Just a tip for everyone, in case you had never heard of the site. I just used dealflicks.com to get myself a movie ticket and popcorn for $9. Pretty cool, though sometimes the showtimes can suck, but I definitely recommend it if you enjoy getting out to movies.
Now to ask the boss if I can skip out 10 minutes early tomorrow to make it to the theater in time. |

This may be right, as it also explains why the other Murray is asking a lot for Fowler. |

Myers might get traded this year! Its your opinion on Myers being the best player, Ill take Bogo/Kane over Stafford/Myers - not even close. We can talk at the end of the year.
Also, to be fair, its just my opinion. We shall see? |

So they turn Myers into Hamonic, who's very good.
I'd also take Kane and Bogo over Myers and Stafford.
But Brendan Lemieux might be a very good player, plus a 1st round pick, plus Armia who's finally getting a shot |

They're giving Armia a shot? Really? When did he become good? Last I heard he was regressing at the AHL level.

Have the Bills surpassed their futility against the Dolphins back in the day with their rivalry with the Patriots now?
A guy at work just asked me "Are your Bills gonna be able to pull it out tonight?"
My answer: Hell no! They may be in the lead after 1 or perhaps even at half time, but they'll end up getting blown out before the game is done. - stashu
Probably the exact opposite actually. We will probably be down at half and come back in the 3rd/4th and either squeak it out or lose by less than 6. I think the bills will cover the spread. And honestly think that they can win. Not having Edleman is a huge loss for them because or 2 dreaded monster (ranked 1 and 3) corners can handle the other scrubs they have at WR. And i like that Leodis will be on Gronk plus help from an LB. Not having Julian to run that slant across the middle for the 6-7 yard plays constantly is huge because we can never stop it. McCoy and Karlos need to have decent games TD each (Williams for the rookie record) and i think we can take it |

7 points in 13 games I think, 4th on his team, 1 point behind the 2 guys tied for 2nd.
See if it translates to the NHL in any long term way. I was hoping he'd stay a Sabre back when, but oh well... |

Sorry, I've seen the Bills on national TV story too many times in recent years to think it'll be anything other than a let down.
It would be nice to be wrong, but I don't see it. |

We had all been thinking about prior to this season, and with the season at the quarter mark, I thought it'd be a good time to take a look at that the team has and what they need going forward while knowing that some of this will change as players develop at different paces.
The best forward lines I could come up with based on where I think each player is ideally suited (1st line, 2nd line, 3rd line, etc.) are as follows:
Blank, Eichel, O’Reilly OR Blank, Eichel, Blank
Kane, Reinhart, Blank OR Kane, O’Reilly, Reinhart
Moulson, Girgensons, Ennis
Foligno, Larsson, Gionta
The best defense pairings, based on the same idea as above, are as follows:
Blank, Ristolainen
Pysyk, Bogosian
McCabe, Franson
Gorges
It is no surprise that the team is lacking a top 2 defender.
By my count, the team needs two top 6 players, and you could even argue that the team needs two top line wingers to play with Eichel if you believe in the potential of a second line like Kane, O’Reilly, Reinhart as I do.
Aside from drafting relatively highly again this year, or getting lucky in the lottery and ending up with a top 3 pick, getting those 3 key positions filled is going to be VERY tricky. They don't exactly have a ton to trade and I am not sure how the free agent class looks the next two seasons. |

I looked up 14150...theater selection for WNY is pretty crappy (no Regal or AMC), so that sucks. Works like a charm down here with different theater chains. |
