I posted this late last night/early this morning In his old blog.
How's everyone doing at he quarter pole in HB? So far I'm 7-0 with 3270.5 points with a 64.5 point lead and one game on 2nd place. And I'm 13th in the "free league". Although those rankings don't make a ton of sense, because there are undefeated teams with more points than 1 loss teams who are ranked lower in the "wild cards". The team "The Captain" has 3259.5 points, is 7-0, but is ranked 42nd. "St. Paul Thuggz" has 3238 points, is 6-1 and is ranked 33rd. How does that make sense? 22.5 points and 1 game better, but somehow ranked 9 places lower. Right now I'm ranked right where I should be, so whatever.
Since the team names are different than the handles I don't know who is who. My team is The Unoriginals. |

41 leagues in free bracket
top 41 seeds go to the league winners
seeds 42-128 are wild cards, best of the non division winners based on record, tie breaker goes to most points
I am second in my division with 2 losses and 3237 points 137th overall
my division leader has 1 loss, only on in division
I am in a really tough division where every team does line ups each week, and everyone has a good lineup, no slackers |

Players who get injured frequently get criticized all the time.
When the Bills were rumored to get Sam Bradford, I remember most people saying they wouldn't want him because he's injury prone. Not that they think he might have another "freak accident"
Some athletes get hurt more than others. It's not all random.
Again, not saying Lehner's career is doomed, but I think it's a legitimate concern - sbroads24
Bradford's not a great example. He tore his ACL in the same knee twice, he's hurt his throwing shoulder multiple times.
So when you have Lehner getting a concussion and then catching a rut in the ice it's not exactly the same thing, however, your point still stands. If a player who doesn't have a history of major injuries (more than say 10 games/ a month missed) and hits the same rut as an "injury prone" player the "injury prone" player will be hurt more often.

Ah ok, that makes sense. It doesn't say who is playing in what division, so I was very confused.

If Reinhart didn't stink, he would have connected on at least one of those two chances. |
