Kind of tired of other teams fans coming in and spouting off this line without knowing what they are talking about....its been clear that Snow wants a quality defenseman in return and this team isnt going to deal Nurse or Klefbom to get Hamonic that doesnt help us that just puts us back where we are at....now if he wanted a forward in exchange then yes we would be open for buisness but he doesnt so tell me how we get this done then? if we had an abundance of quality defensemen to trade to get Hamonic then we wouldnt be in this position to begin with

In fairness, Canes have been dummying teams all year with shots. Allow the fewest shots against per game in the league but miserable goaltending and an inability to put the puck in the net has sunk them. This may have been a slump-buster.

Plus Murphy (22) is injured, but still have Haydn Fleury (19) and Roland McKeown (19) in Jr's. Not to mention Josh Wesley and Keegan Lowe... We have a LOT of D prospects.

If you make that trade, then get McDavid back in January, that pick might not even be a lottery pick. No guarantee, of course, but that combination makes you much more competitive. Plus, I think Faulk would mesh well with Sekera...
