Carol as far as waivers go, a team protecting their own prospect is fine with me. What the Leafs did is hitting below the belt even though they didn't break any rules. I said it before . Cassels isn't worth anything at this point, he has been really bad in Utica to start his pro career. Still lots of time to turn it around but not something that will bring in a 23 yr old #1 C.

Boeser may be a 30+ sniper in the future, but I see McCann as a clutch player. A poor mans Toews(Still a great player but not quite what Toews is). Boeser may be another Kessel but not as fat. I always hear about how bad he is at back checking.

RJ is better now, but I think McCann will be the better player in the long run. Though I do think McCann on RJ's wing would be amazing.
