RJ is better now, but I think McCann will be the better player in the long run. Though I do think McCann on RJ's wing would be amazing.
1st, CBJ 2nd, Shink, Cassels?

- Retinalz

You think too much , Belcher thinks too little. Same as Hamonic proposals some would give up Tanev some wouldn't consider it.

Easy to want a trade. Executing a trade is a whole lot harder and that is why they just don't happen.

Draft and develop is the way to build

Is that all you Nucks fans do is female dog and moan still over the Leafs claiming Corrado? Holy (frank) how is even hitting below the belt? Teams claim players from other teams all the time, you morons are just salty because the Leafs took a Canucks player for nothing and aren't even playing him. Just drop it already

True that. I'd trade anything that doesnt have initials jm,jv,bh,or td, ct. Anything else i would put in a trade for RJ or don't want him.

As good as he is, he isn't worth that much. If that is the price, There may not be any teams willing to pay.
- Retinalz

I agree and really CLB would be silly to move him.
While I really like Horvat as well, we overvalue him and realistically his potential doesn't come close to what RJ already brings.

Look at the O'Reilly trade who was 23 and was seen as a #1 C but I think many would rank RJ over him.

Buffalo gave up Zadorov, Grigorenko, Compher and a high 2nd (31st overall)

It's not often I'm accused of thinking too little about hockey.... usually just that my thinking is wrong.

I agree draft and develop is the way to go, but I think you have to look long and hard if you get a chance to acquire a player like RJ.

I personally could care less if he is from BC, but he a much better chance at being a top line player than anything else we currently have.

Sorry I think you misunderstood.

I meant you thought the trade offer I propose was too little and others thought the offer was too much.

I respect your opinions even though we sit on total opposite sides always.

This is the turkey day week. They were just talking on SN about movement into the playoffs and out of the playoffs after this weekend.

Canucks can easily move out after tonight

I also now understand what you are saying.

I've watched all of this game that I want to. What a (frank)ing ugly style of hockey the wild play. How they have fans is a feat in itself. Thought the trap disappeared years ago.

Teams make offer sheets all the time too. So lighten up there pansy boy

What's your point? I have no problem with those, or with teams taking players off waivers. You're the one crying about losing your dear buddy Corrado to the Leafs. Get over it already.

It's not just one poster, I've seen the same poopposting about Corrado and the Leafs from most Nucks fans on this site so don't take everything to heart and quit your female doging.

Again the same thing happens early in the 1st... the refs go out of their way to get the road team down a goal early. bumholes.

Corrado isn't even good enough to make the leafs (which has 3-4 defensemen playing 1-2 roles), I don't think any of us are too upset. He just didn't play well enough to make the team. I think he should in our press box instead of yours, but that's about it.

i agree with this, Johansen is realistically a top 10 forward for years to come, at 23 years old! Sorry boys but its probably Tanev and McCann and a pick of some kind. Honestly, it would be a good move IMO. Whoever said McCann will be better than Johansen one day. I will have one of whatever you're drinking, as it sounds debilitating.

You mean the point per game player over the last two years who is 23, right? The guy who is headed into his prime with top-ten talent... sorry, I disagree.

He has not been a PPG player at this level yet, close but not yet, last year was his career best 71 in 82 games(still VERY Impressive). Headed into his prime yes, but this year so far not showing to improve on last year. I think people here are over valuing him. He is worth a lot yes, but we can't afford to pay that price if anyone(let alone 2) of jm,jv,bh,bh,ct,td are included in the trade talks at this time.

He missed two games earlier this year due to “lack of energy”

Not something you pay high for. Also the issues with Torts, teams know it is only a matter of time until RJ forces a trade and weakens CBJ negotiation.

220 lbs at 6'3... I'm no fitness wiz, but I'd say he's not too fat. He's got 16 pts in 20 games, some of those games despite playing for Torts and seeing limited ice. There's not too many players with that size and skill, one of them is named Malkin, the other Benn and a third OV. Other than that who is that big and can put up numbers like that and is 23? Answer: No one.
